The mid-indigo Maridenim Näkemys jean shirt dress is made of non-stretch cotton denim in the Unikko pattern. The button-up shirt dress has a relaxed straight fit, a chest pocket, side seam pockets and a back yoke seam. The cuffed sleeves have slits and button closures, the hem has a slight curved cut, and it features Marimekko jean buttons.

Maridenim products are designed following the Jeans Redesign guidelines of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation: monomaterial cotton (80% organic, 20% recycled) with no elastane, removable buttons and no rivets, and laser, E-Flow and ozone washing instead of traditional stone washing. Each piece has a special finishing and patina that gives it a unique, distinctive character.

Unikko, symbolizing creativity, was born in a time when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekko's collections. Maija Isola, however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints.
