The Pihalla shirt dress has an oversized straight fit and it features the Unikko pattern which is printed in Helsinki. The dress has a banded collar with gathering at the back neckline a reinforced bib front and a short button closure that ends in a pleat. The dress has short loose sleeves and side seam pockets. The hem has short side slits with a rounded cut in the front and a straight cut in the back. Our dresses are cut using the whole width of the fabric and therefore their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique. Designed in Finland, made in Romania.

Unikko symbolizing creativity was born in a time when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekko’s collections. Maija Isola however was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints.
