TRAITS Paris was created in 1994 by Barbara Platte. A graduate of Applied Arts in Hamburg and Decorative Arts in Paris, she has also collaborated with major brands such as Hermès, Helmut Lang and Jill Sander, among others. Her inspirations come mainly from Northern Europe where she has traveled a lot.

All her products are imagined in her Parisian workshop and made in the suburbs of Lyon, where weaving is a centuries-old tradition.
